Whew. It’s been a long morning. Last night, we officially launched my book in Toronto at the Gladstone. I read first, followed by Ian Williams and Kristen den Hartog, whose books Not Anyone’s Anything and And Me Among Them, are both being released by Freehand this month. As in right now. I hadn’t met either of these two writers until last night, and I’m happy to report that they are both very nice, and very talented. Same goes for Sarah Ivany and Robyn Read, who have put this whole thing together, and basically rock. I also got to see lots of old friends, who still feel new to me. Ahhh … the company I keep!
So it was Toronto last night, and Calgary tonight. An early morning flight this morning, and I’m exhausted. I barely have the energy to type, so I’m going to sign off with a picture I stole off my cousin’s Facebook page. Yeah … that’s how I roll.
